What is Grinder Bear?
The Grinder Bear is a mechanical boss from the Star update: a grey frame, glowing white eyes, and one motorized wheel. In the wild it is the last wave of the Bear Invasion event, announced as The bears are angry, with heavy audio and red warning text. Wild stats are 2,000 HP and a chase speed of 22 studs per second. Boss Armor reduces damage after a burst crosses a per-second threshold, so steady fire beats spike damage. Indomitable gives full immunity to stuns and knockback, so the taser fails. Two arms can target different players, with a 2-second weapon swap. The arms cycle a minigun (4 bullets at 40 damage per second for 4.5 seconds, 160 studs), six rockets at 80 damage each, a flamethrower at 24 heat damage per second plus a 5-second burn at 8 damage per second, and a shotgun of 8 times 15 pellets at 8 damage per pellet. Grinder Charge spins the wheel for 1.8 seconds, then dashes at speed 10 while still firing. Wheel Spin fires every 9 to 14 seconds in close range: a 30-stud shockwave for 40 damage that breaks doors and wooden fences. A permanent shop version costs $125,000. That purchase is not the same thing as beating the invasion boss.

How do you use Grinder Bear?
Inside the base, a locker makes the multi-target arms lose you. In the open, stay beyond 30 studs to avoid Wheel Spin. Use steady guns such as the MAC-10, pistol, or the expensive minigun and flamethrower. Do not taser it. Melee is fatal because of rockets, the shotgun, and the shockwave.
